Dragon2000 for your Region
The Dragon2000 DMS facilitates many of the requirements of dealerships within European countries.
Currency Display
For dealers in Cyprus, for example, our vehicle sales invoices have supported DUAL CURRENCY Pound and Euro Balances, as was required in the pre-Euro period of 2007.
The system will use the local system currency, or any currency symbol you choose to set.
Local Terminology
Wording on documents such as Invoices changes to reflect terminology used in your region.
For example, Irish dealers will see NCT (National Car Test) in place of the UK's MoT test, and the automatic followup period is set to 2 years, as is required for Irish NCT tests.
Local Taxation
Dragon2000 will accommodate most region-specific taxation requirements.
TAX Coding can be configured within the software to provide, for example, different rates for the supply or products and services.
Within Ireland this includes VRT - Vehicle Registration Tax. The calculation complies with the guidelines from the Irish Revenue Commissioner.
Within the UK, similar facilities allow calculation of IPT (Insurance Premium Tax).
Local Features
We have built relationships with many data providers, which can add value and features to the Dealership Management System in your market.
SMS Messaging is available in many regions, with more being added as requested.
Vehicle Lookup services (known as VRM) are currently available in UK and Republic of Ireland.
Dragon2000 also operates a motor trade discussion forum for dealers in Ireland at MotorTrade.ie. The service is Free, and advise is given by Dragon2000 themselves and hundreds if not thousands of Motor Traders who frequent the forum.
