What is Sage?
Sage Line 50 is the UK's most popular PC-based accounting package for small to medium-sized businesses.
Dragon2000 has been integrating to Sage ever since version 6, and continue to support the very latest Sage releases, including Sage Line 50 2007 and the forthcoming Sage 50 2008
Three versions of Sage Line 50 are available. These features represent an approximation of the differences between the Line 50 products, and may not reflect the features of the most recent release:
Sage Accounting Packages
Sage Line 50 Accountant including:
- Sales, Purchase and Nominal ledgers
- VAT Management
- Credit Contol

- Additional Management Reports
- Single User System
- Available as a Multi-Company system
- Supports on-line e-banking
Sage Line 50 Accountant Plus also includes:
- Invoicing
- Stock Control
- Cheque Printing
Sage Line 50 Financial Controller includes all of the above features, plus:
- Order Processing
- Quotations and Pro-formas
- Contact Management
- Available as a Network system
As Dragon2000 carries out all processes involved in Buying and Selling cars, parts and services, Sage Line 50 Accountant is adequate for many customers unless features such as Invoicing from Sage are required.
How do Dragon2000 and Sage Line 50 integrate?
Dragon2000 offers true integration into your Sage accounts. Rather than a simple exchange of data, Dragon2000 interrogates your Sage data to validate every posting.
If you are purchasing Sage Line 50 with the intention of integrating the two (Passing data from Dragon2000 into sage), please be aware that you will also have to purchase the Dragon2000 Sage Integration module.
