Many of these features are included free of charge with all Dragon2000 packages. Other items, such as SMS text alerts require an account to be set up with Dragon2000. The Web Generator may incur a small setup fee.

SMS Text Alerts

Let your customers know the progress of their car in the most discreet way possible. SMS text messages can be sent to your customers mobile phones straight out of a service or vehicle record. Messages cost only a few pence. You can pre-set standard responses to inform customers of MOT test results, or when a car is ready for collection. All your operators require is a connection to the Internet.

• Predefined messages save you typing the same alert over and over
• Details of the customer's vehicle can be included in the message
• Messages are sent with your own company name as the sender
• Mailshot customer's phones - up to 130 messages in one click!
• Online statement will show where your messages were sent, and who sent them!
• Messages cost only a few pence each.

Mailshot Wizard

The Mailshot wizard allows you to set up mailshots to target customers or suppliers who match your specific requirements. You can save the specification of the mailshot for use in the future, for example, to mailshot all customers whose MOT expires in the next sixty days, and mailshot a different selection of customers each month.

• Allows you to create letters and mailing labels using details of customers and suppliers in your Dragon2000 system
• Target your mailshots more accurately with the use of an extensive criteria search function.
• Can produce large mailshots with or without headed paper, or even a single letter to a customer. The choice is yours!

Prospecting

The Prospecting module allows you to log the requirements of customers, along with details of when they are likely to make a purchase and when to contact them. When you are entering a new vehicle into the system, or when you log in, your stock is compared to your prospects requirements and you are informed if a strong match is found.

The strength of matches are expressed as a score out of five (one point for each of Make; Model; Colour; Age; Budget). You are also given a percentage match.

The results of the matched cars can be printed by salesmen to aid them in telephone conversations, and can also be included on letters, using the Mailshot Wizard.

• Display shows contacts that must be made this week, that are overdue, and also future contacts
• Salesmen can print reports to aid in telephone conversations, including, if required, details of matching cars from your stock
• The salesperson's name is attached to a prospect, and is transferred to the Car Record if the prospect is 'Converted' to a customer
• Allows you to log the requirements of the prospect, however vague or specific
• Comparison against your stock can be made immediately, as you log in, or when a new stock record is created
• The strength of a match is shown as a percentage of his or her requirements
• The list of matching cars can be shortened to show only those scoring over a set level

Web Generator

The Web Site Generator allows any user of Dragon2000 Car Sales packages to update their own stock list on their web site. This is already being carried out by dozens of Dragon2000 users, however computer literate or illiterate they are! This simple wizard driven feature even uploads the pages to your web site for you.

The pages are produced using templates which are supplied by Dragon2000 to suit your existing web site layout. There is an additional charge for these template files to be produced, POA.

• Dragon2000 web site generator can format web pages of your company's stock straight onto your own website
• Digital photographs can be included on each car record to give a professional look
• You can produce separate stock lists for different types of vehicles e.g Sports, Prestige, and 4x4
• You needn`t be a computer whizzkid to update your website!
• Dragon2000 will supply you with templates to ensure stock lists suit your existing site
• Web Generator produces both a stock list, and individual detail pages of each car
• The addition of a search engine to your site, will allow visitors to search for cars matching their own criteria eg. BMW at £12000

Selling Parts Online

Dragon2000 are developing online shopping facilities, fully integrated with your Dragon2000 Parts Stock facility.

Multi Company and Multi-Dataset Upgrade

Multi-Company and Multi-Dataset options allow you to operate several companies or trading styles within one installation of Dragon2000.

Each company can have their own artwork and will be reported on individually within Dragon2000's Management Reports. If you use the Dragon2000 Sage Integration module, data from each company can be integrated into separate Sage companies if required, or combined.
